Merit Badge Classes are available to your troop. The cost is $32 per Scout per Merit Badge. Some Merit Badges will have an additional $5 per Scout fee. These Merit Badges are - Swimming, Lifesaving, Canoeing, Kayaking, First Aid, Chemistry, Rowing, and Art. You will need at least 7 Scouts and contact us to arrange a time. as of November 11, 2017

We have Overnight Camping here with no program! The cost is $20 per person, per night. Please call (310) 831-1984 to make a reservation! You can work on cooking, orienteering, and any other requirements you can think of. We also have weekend camping available with program! Please call for information!-- as of November 11, 2017

We need to create a support team for Cabrillo Youth Camp. We need committee members for Program, Maintenance, and Fundraising. If you are interested in helping out (1 Hour meeting once a month, Monday evening) please call (310) 831-1984! -- as of November 11, 2017

We can help complete Partial Merit Badges from other Summer Camps. Please call (310) 831-1984 to make an appointment for Saturdays or Sundays. The cost will be $15 per Scout. We can offer partial completions for the following Merit Badges - Emergency Preparation, Canoeing, Communication, First Aid, Indian Lore, Kayaking, Leatherwork, Lifesaving, Personal Fitness, Personal Management, Pioneering, Swimming, Wood Carving, and Geology!-- as of November 11, 2017

January Merit Badge Classes:
     Saturday Jan. 20th and Jan. 27th. You must come both weeks.
       Citizenship in the Nation (10am - Noon) (Limit 12 Scouts), Requirements 2 and 3 are done on your own. You will talk with the counselor ahead of time to complete requirements 6 and 8.
       Citizenship in the Community (1pm - 3pm) (Limit of 15 Scouts), This merit badge takes a lot of independent work. Requirements 3, 4, 7, and 8 must be done on your own. Requirement 5 can be done in class or on your own.
       First Aid (+$5 per Scout) (1pm - 3pm) (Limit of 10 Scouts).
The cost is $32 per Scout, Payment is due when you sign up. First Aid merit badge worksheet is suggested as it is very helpful. Please read the First Aid merit badge book prior to class. If you have satisfied requirement #1, please bring proof of it (Bring your signed Scout book). You must prepare a first-aid kit for your home. This can not be store-bought. Be ready to discuss its contents and their purpose. Please call (310)831-1984 if you have any questions. Minimum 7 Scouts or we will need to cancel the class!

February Merit Badge Classes

       Citizenship in the World (10am - Noon) (Limit 10 Scouts), Requirements 2 and 7 are done on your own. Scouts should be able to name five different governments that are currently in power. They must be able to describe those governments and what countries have them.
       Family Life (1pm - 3pm) (Limit of 15 Scouts), Will need to return on May 5th for final sign off. Scouts need to talk with parents about requirements 4 and 5. Parents may help pick chores to be done. The counselor must approve them before they are started. Please call (310)831-1984 if you have any questions.
